AN IDEA. A TEST. SOMETHING NEW.

Invention

Turn an idea into something that works. Test what matters. Keep what you learn.

THE CONTINUOUS INVENTION LOOP

Give it direction. Steer as it works.

A saved background mission starts with checked public business-workflow needs, screens practical value and purpose, builds small software pilots and tests them against alternatives. It continues when this browser is closed. You can steer or pause it at any time.

Connecting to your background workspace…

Software results are measured in an isolated environment using AI-designed test fixtures. They do not establish novelty or human benefit. Background discovery uses checked public business-workflow signals; the separate scientific research view uses arXiv and MIT News feeds. No broad prior-art search or foundation-model training is performed.

01 / ENTERPRISE AI · POTENTIAL USE CASES

Start with a workflow. Test the value.

Explore concrete enterprise AI ideas aimed at near-term business value. These candidate lanes are hypotheses, not verified demand, qualified buyers or promises of ROI.

All buyer roles, pain points, time-to-value and pilot plans below are assumptions to validate. An illustrative 30–90-day pilot is neither guaranteed nor a user deadline. A vendor-reported case example would describe that vendor’s customer, not establish our forecast or qualified demand.

Choose workflow hypotheses to explore

Do not include private client details, CRM records, Crosslake contacts, personal data, credentials or confidential documents. Nothing is imported from those systems. Only your selected workflows and the context above are sent to OpenAI through Vercel AI Gateway. Calculator inputs stay in this page and are not sent.

Checking the selected OpenAI model’s runtime canary. Generation stays blocked unless it has passed.

OpenAI GPT-6 Luna only, with no fallback. Shared operational limits: two active generations, five per connection per hour and thirty globally per hour. Each generation has a 45-second model deadline, bounded output and no automatic retries.

Estimate a business case from your inputs

This deterministic calculator runs locally. Enter every input, including explicit zeroes; no benchmark or model forecast is filled in. Use one currency throughout. Results are estimates under your assumptions, not verified ROI or an EBITDA forecast.

Time freed is capacity, not automatically cash. Cash realization needs an actual spending reduction or avoided spend. Enter incremental contribution at full adoption; the calculator scales it by your adoption share. It must be incremental revenue after variable costs or avoided leakage, separately evidenced and not already counted in labor savings. Include all operating and implementation costs, including training, review and change management.

No estimate yet. Supply your own numeric assumptions first.

Calculation and interpretation

Adopted items = monthly items × adoption share. Released hours = adopted items × (baseline minutes − assisted work minutes − human review minutes) ÷ 60. Capacity/time value = released hours × loaded hourly cost.

Modeled labor cash savings = positive capacity/time value × cash-realization share. Modeled net monthly cash effect = labor cash savings + (separately evidenced full-adoption incremental contribution or avoided leakage × adoption share) − model/hosting cost − integration, maintenance and other operating cost. First-year net cash effect = twelve months of net effect − one-time implementation cost.

Simple payback is implementation cost ÷ positive net monthly cash effect, only when a positive implementation investment is supplied. It assumes constant monthly adoption and benefits from the start; ramps, taxes, discounting and financing are not modeled. If the workflow takes longer, capacity loss is shown, with no implied labor cash savings; add any actual extra labor expense to operating costs. A nonpositive net effect is not profitable. A positive estimate alone does not establish profitability.

01 / FORM AN IDEA

Where emerging technologies meet.

Find new research, transfer a mechanism from one domain to another, and propose a capability worth testing.

Explore across domains

Choose at least two domains to begin.

These are hypotheses, not proven inventions. Source summaries and abstracts may omit limitations. Read the originals and check prior work before building.

02 / TURN THE IDEA INTO SOMETHING THAT WORKS

Start with a capability.

What should become possible that isn’t possible today? Give it a name, then work through six steps with explicit reviews and learning loops.

Project content stays in this browser. Export a backup before clearing browser data. Anyone can open this workspace, but your projects aren’t shared with them. Don’t store secrets here.

Two parts. One handoff.

The idea defines a new capability and a possible mechanism. This workspace handles the process that follows: experiment, design, build, evaluate and learn. Each project keeps its decisions and evidence. Useful lessons can inform the next invention.

Idea generation uses an AI model to propose combinations from public research. The workflow records human and agent work; it does not verify claims independently or change its own software.
