Own-business implementation
Autonomous Enterprise
Building an AI-assisted business across departments, with evidence and human accountability. An ongoing own-business implementation, with published assets, released software and verified individual workflows.
The working environment
Evergences is using its own business as a working environment for enterprise AI, connecting commercial research, product development, publishing, customer intake and operational follow-through. Sean Everett works with AI to turn ideas into deliverables, verify what happened and carry useful context into the next task. The objective is defensible, profitable growth with high risk-adjusted returns. Financial returns and productivity gains have not yet been established.
Role
Founder-led strategy, product development and operating-model design supported by AI-assisted research and execution.
Challenge
Connect the responsibilities of a full organization while retaining clear ownership, approvals and the distinction between a proposal, a completed action and a verified result.
Approach
- Work evolved from individual product and website tasks into reusable department workflows. Shared context and evidence-preserving infrastructure support continuity.
- Commercial research informs positioning and specifications. Engineering delivers experiences that operations verifies. Customer intake connects published pages to delivery, while claims research informs marketing.
- Shared Memory explores source-linked records, version history and explicit handoffs. The public notebook and developer beta are available; the broader team-coordination pilot remains in development. Confidential business material does not belong in the public notebook.
Across departments
Sales & Marketing
Positioning, prospect research, qualification and tailored approved outreach support published product and commercial experiences, including the Echo opportunity workspace and Evergences case studies. Execution is checked against receipts. Contact consolidation remains in progress; sent messages are not counted as revenue.
Research & Development
Ideas develop into specifications, implementations and releases. Shared Memory is a concrete example of source-linked context and recovery. Its public Python v1.1.5 release notes report 57 passing recovery and reference tests. That count is attributed to the release notes, not a new independent test; it establishes specific component behavior, not commercial impact.
Operations
Implementation, testing, publishing and production verification carry work forward. Reusable workflows retain evidence, decisions, next steps and unresolved work. An accuracy-and-outcome scorecard has been added; improvement remains to be measured.
Customer Support
Live inquiry intake and controlled delivery verification for Rebel Arcade provide a customer-intake foundation. Autonomous ticket resolution and customer-satisfaction gains have not been demonstrated.
Finance & Admin
Product pricing, usage-volume scenarios and commercialization economics support human decisions. This remains planning, without claims of autonomous financial administration or achieved revenue and margin gains.
Legal & Compliance
Evidence review qualifies public product claims, including Jetpack Glasses. The work supports human review and does not establish legal or regulatory approval or replace professional advice.
Deliverables
- Published commercial and product experiences
- Released context and recovery components
- Verified individual publishing and inquiry workflows
- Department workflows and an outcome scorecard
Status and next steps
Self-reported own-business implementation as of October 12, 2026, based on selected accessible work. This is not a comprehensive historical audit or an integrated production loop across all departments. Financial returns and productivity gains are not established. There is no guaranteed outcome.
Practical progress is established by published assets, released components and verified individual workflows. Next, measure accuracy, completion, commercial outcomes and cost, including supervision. Expand autonomy where evidence supports it, retain human accountability, and judge progress by profitable growth and risk-adjusted returns.
